Dr. Christin’s Approach
Health, Movement, & Wellbeing
- New patients are scheduled with Dr. Christin for a 30-60 minute evaluation, dependent upon the age and health of the patient. A full health history and detailed physical exam are performed on every patient. If appropriate, your treatment plan is typically initiated on the initial visit.
- Chiropractic adjustments on infants are quite different than they are for adults. All of Dr. Christin’s adjustments are very gentle and performed with light pressure or a special tool that requires very little force. Dr. Christin is the Chiropractor we recommend when patients are requesting a more gentle approach. She is also certified in dry needling and uses this technique to provide even more relief.
- For pregnant women, Dr. Christin recommends that treatment begins before the 22nd week in order to achieve optimal results. While this is preferred, it’s never too late to begin treatment.
- Dr. Christin is also certified and highly-proficient in the Webster Technique. This is a specific and gentle way to adjust the pelvis during pregnancy. The Webster Technique helps balances the pelvis and increases the room for your baby so they can be in the optimal position for birth.
- Dr. Christin is also certified in Craniosacral Therapy. Craniosacral Therapy is a light-touch technique used to release tension in the body. This helps to calm the nervous system and ease pain. This technique is great for all ages!
