What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a specialized form of manual medicine that uses Chiropractic Adjustments to treat conditions such as sciatica, back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, and scoliosis (to name but a few). These problems originate in the nerves, the muscles, and the joints. Chiropractors perform Chiropractic Adjustments to mobilize your joints and decrease pain. Many Chiropractors specialize in delivering only Chiropractic Adjustments to the spine. Other Chiropractors combine Chiropractic Adjustments with manual therapies (i.e. massage), rehab exercises, or dry needling acupuncture to any painful area of the body. Chiropractic is a profession that varies greatly from Chiropractor to Chiropractor. Depending on you needs, you should try to find a Chiropractor in Colorado Springs that has the skills that you're looking for

What are your doctor's qualifications?

The Spine and Sport Center is proud to offer one of the most diverse teams of Chiropractor in Colorado Springs. Our team is composed of Sports Chiropractors that are highly skilled in the treatment of sports injuries; a Pediatric Chiropractor that treats newborn babies, infants, and children; and Family Chiropractors well versed for a variety of conditions including sciatica, scoliosis, back pain, neck pain, nerve pain, headaches, migraines, and spinal stenosis. To see each our our providers credentials, just navigate to the "OUR TEAM" tab.

What are the costs of care?

This is a difficult question to answer as the total cost of care is different for each individual based on the number of visits performed and your cost per visit (insurance or self-pay). While total cost may be an elusive number, our per visit costs are highly transparent. We charge $139.00 for our initial consultation, and $60 for subsequent visits. These prices reflect our self-payment fee schedule.
We have a variety of cost-saving options for patients requiring extensive therapy, but the best way to save money is to have a Chiropractor that delivers effective care with results!

Please note that when choosing to use health insurance the price you pay is established by your insurance company, not our team. You will be additionally subject to co-pays and deductibles; not to mention visitation limits and "medical necessity". This could have you paying out of pocket for some or all of your care. Don't be discouraged by that. While it is unfortunate that some insurances offer poor Chiropractic benefits (or none), several months of high-quality Chiropractic Care will still cost less than a single visit to a hospital emergency room!

What conditions can be treated with Chiropractic care?

The "wheelhouse" of Chiropractic technique centers around the treatment of spinal pain syndromes that aren't bad enough to require surgery. That includes neck pain, back pain, low back pain, headaches, and sciatica. The full extent on what Chiropractors treat depends on their specialization and additional training. Currently our team is capable of helping with a variety of problems including:

  • Plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, foot pain
  • Shoulder pain, and rotator cuff tears
  • Nerve pain, neuropathy, and carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Knee pain, knee replacement, ACL rehab
  • The Webster Technique for Chiropractic during Pregnancy
  • Neck pain, back pain, low back pain, and scoliosis
  • Cervical radiculopathy, lumbar radiculopathy, and spinal stenosis
  • TMJ syndrome and jaw pain
  • Chiropractic for babies and newborns, infants, and children
